"Dia"

Dia is an Indonesian word that translates to "the other person," or "them." While in English you would use "dia" as "her/him/them," we have a gender neutral word. As of now, the series only consists of drawings, however I will be expanding the series by making a bio-material puppet sculpture of Dia.

berkaca, dansa untuk iblis is a part of the “zwaarte” series: we are controlled to the point that we cannot be our true selves; looking at the mirror and not recognising your soul, always performing, rarely living. let us be human beings.
