KREASI by DSP is an Indonesian made to order eco-conscious brand that creates creative goods locally using plastic waste & scrap materials.
KREASI is Indonesian for creation. The idea of creating products from used materials came up years ago; there are various types of trash that end up in the landfill, and some of them cannot be recycled or up cycled due to the products’ condition. With Indonesia’s waste problem, we’re only tackling a small scale of the issue which we hope will eventually help the amount of trash that end up in the landfill. Fast fashion companies keep producing on trend garments every month or so, making fashion the second most polluting industry globally.
Apart from textile waste, another global major issue especially in Indonesia, is plastic waste. We’ve collected used plastic bottle caps from local scavengers/landfills. Why plastic bottle caps? Bottled drinks are one of the most consumed plastic products, it's a shame that we can't combine both the bottle and the caps as they have different melting temperatures. We could only combine different types of plastic if we do have a bigger press machine that will melt them as a whole equally. We upcycle these bottle caps to beautiful durable products. So far, we've only been making jewelry, yet more products are definitely in store in the future. Our products are mostly colourful to portray the diverse variety of waste that end up in the landfill. All of our products are locally sourced and made, and we also use paper based - plastic free packaging.

Cinta Laut Kita (Love Our Oceans): A collection inspired by the ocean. This collection was made to remind people that the more we destroy our oceans the more beauty we're taking away from Mother Earth.
Koleksi Malam
Koleksi Malam (Night Collection): A more glamorous collection that's meant to be used for a night out. Proof that plastic waste is wearable and also look amazing.
TasKu (MyBag) : A collection of bags that are made from scrap yarn produced by a local textiles company.
A custom gift for Melati Wijsen & Gary. A set of earrings, rings, and a keychain. These are the last pieces that I've made.
